Doris Johnson and grandaughter Emma Whitney viewing what is now only a memory! The waterfall and upper pond at Loftus dam were destroyed in the floods which devastated Gaskell Gill, Loftus Mill and Bridge. The whole area is till unstable with some ground movement.
