This view from a Frith’s postcard of Saltburn Lane, Skelton, dates from the 1960s and possibly earlier. Long before the houses were built extending the original Grampian Road estate and the more recent development linking across from Windermere Road. Even the bypass was an unthought of development. Both the cat and the cyclist would be taking their lives in their own hand today!
