I was born at 25, Cleveland Street, Liverton Mines in 1941.
As Boys, we used to Play Hide and Seek in the numerous Tunnels that were left and on the Shale Heaps that were nearby.
My Dad, Daniel Henry Plews, worked at the Steel Works at Carlin How, until his untimely Death in an Accident there!
