I think you will all agree that Alan m franks has some fantastic memories of the early days of the construction of Boulby potash mine and the images bring back so many memories to myself and many other work colleagues but one memory that sticks in my mind young shaft sinkers walking to the shafts for the next shift smoking cigars yes the money was good work hard play hard.many thanks again Alan well done
