We now know this to have been in the Council Chamber in Eston Town Hall, as Ray Tough advised: “Yes it was the council chamber at Eston Town Hall.” But the Archive was also hoping for confirmation about the group of children and Norman are admiring the official chain of office. The coat of arms in the background: “United We Endeavour” then Langbaurgh and now Redcar and Cleveland coat of Arms are a feature in the Council Chamber.
