That’s my great grandfather Herbert Severs working on the horse, I have plenty more pictures of the building inside and out of other great characters that visited the shop.
I wonder if we are related? My family is from Redcar (Thomas Severs, born 1936, son of Thomas Severs, builder) and I (born 1966) grew up in Redcar.
