This fine building had a short life; officially opened in September 1911 and then it was destroyed in a landslip in 1927. There are images elsewhere on the Archive of the aftermath of the slip. Adam Cuthbert commented: &#8220;Never seen a photograph of this before. It looks like this is where the park is now at top of the hill?
