The path at the left of the chapel leading down to Skinningrove Beck was part of the old \u201dBack\u201d or \u201dCleveland Street\u201d, which ran to Guisborough. The steam from the mine chimney can be seen in the valley below the chapel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jule Howard tells us: \u201dThe name of the chapel was Zion Methodist Chapel. In the 1950\u2032s and 1960\u2032s below this building a youth club was held, and we played billiards, table tennis and other games.\u201d Whilst Derick Pearson tells us: \u201d I enjoyed going there to play billiards.
